ETEC-652D SL Presentation

Our team worked on an instructional unit “The Potential for Therapeutic Pre-operative, Intra-operative and Post-operative Surgical Experiences in Second Life”. Our goal was to create an immersive and culturally sensitive orientation for patients preparing to have a first time surgical experience.  We created a site that is very appealing in many ways. On the day of our presentation our content expert had surgery and was delayed. Most teams had four members. Our team had three, so being a man down left us a little frazzled. Claire and I pulled it together and presented. We were joined by our teammate before the presentation ended and received many positive comments. I believe the three of use worked together well to produce a site that is effective in accomplishing the learning objectives. I also believe we created something we can all be proud of.
